Jose’s journey in SEO began from volunteering and freelancing as a front-end developer in 2018, ranging across multiple industries. From working with fellow New Orleans Saints fans on small blog sites such as Section 600 and All Saints Considered to working with non-profits such as Monahan Ranch Educational-Training Retreat 501(c)(3). As a freelancer and contractor, Jose worked mainly with real estate agencies, medical offices, and dental offices. This work led Jose into the SEO field, with the occasional request to work on technical SEO errors and fix items from SEO audits. With a background in both technical and creative aspects of SEO, Jose has cultivated a deep expertise in on-page SEO, off-page SEO, and technical SEO strategies.

Jose’s journey has since led him to work for a large digital marketing agency, where he has risen through the ranks of the SEO world from an SEO Specialist to an SEO Specialist III. These roles have led him to join reporting initiatives using GA4, Looker Studio, and Tableau and to spearhead multilingual content creation projects for Spanish-speaking markets. His dedication to staying ahead of industry trends and best practices is evident in his participation in industry conferences and workshops.

Jose holds an AAS in Computer Systems—Information Systems from Collin College. When he’s not optimizing websites and developing innovative marketing strategies, he’s working on a home remodel on TikTok or ranting about sports.
